Signature Management Corporation, a local multi-family property management company, is proud to announce that its Peninsula residents have collected over 100 pounds of pet food for The Peninsula Pet Pantry located in York County, Virginia.

 

The Peninsula Pet Pantry is a local charitable organization that provides pets with food and supplies when there is a need for assistance to pet owners facing economic hardship on the Virginia Peninsula.  Through the effort of The Pantry, their ultimate goal would be to reduce the rapidly growing rate of animal surrenders to local shelters and humane societies due to pet owner financial difficulties. Signature Place Apartments located in Hampton and Monticello at Powhatan located in Williamsburg participated in the drive for donations. “Our residents were very generous,” says Assistant Property Manager, Crystal McClure, of Monticello at Powhatan Apartments.  McClure says, “Our residents really care about animals here. I was overjoyed to see a 40 pound bag of food donated.” Aside from the food, multiple pet beds, toys, kitty litter, and miscellaneous pet supplies such as combs and leashes were additionally donated.  The donations will be distributed to pet owners with animals in need throughout the Peninsula.
