Best Farmers Markets in Coastal Virginia

May is the start of Farmers Market season in Coastal Virginia, with community markets opening up across the region featuring the area's ripest produce, delicious baked goods, local honey, cheeses and more. Whether you live on the Southside, the Peninsula or in Williamsburg, there are a variety of markets to choose from, and most are open from late May through October.

We're owned and managed by a local business, and we understand how important it is to support local farmers, bakers, chefs, artisans and craftsman as a part of supporting our region as a whole. Community farmers markets are one of the simplest and healthiest ways to do that, and all while saving yourself money on produce that is grown just a few minutes from your front door.

We've done a little research and selected several of the best farmers markets in Coastal Virginia, with locations near to your home and heart. Mark your calendars and begin saving your Saturday mornings for shopping your nearby market, and support local farmers and a healthier, fresher diet.
